Answers to the questions we hear most
Many questions have a quick answer, so it is worth a look here before you write.
I never received my sign-in link
Sign-up uses your email address only. You enter it on the create account page and we email you a link to set your password. If that email has gone missing or the link no longer works, ask for a fresh one on the forgotten password page, and check your spam or promotions folder. Once your password is set, you can sign in at any time.
Where are my documents?
You answer the questions first and pay once at the end. The transcript, course descriptions, school profile and counselor letter are then generated and appear on your project page, ready to download in both Word and PDF. Nothing is charged until you press Pay, and if a payment page expires before you finish, pressing Pay again opens a fresh one.
Something in a document needs changing
Most changes come from what was entered, so correct the course, grade or description on your project and generate the documents again; regenerations are free while you proof the pack. You sign the documents yourself as the school of record, and the counselor letter is a draft for you to edit until it sounds like you. If a document still is not right after that, tell us below which document it is and what is wrong.
Can you tell me what a particular college wants?
We prepare documents from your own homeschool records; we do not give admissions advice. Requirements vary by institution, and some colleges ask homeschooled applicants for extra materials such as outside testing or a graded writing sample, so confirm each college's expectations with its admissions office.
Help us answer you quickly
- Write from the email address you signed up with, so we can find your account straight away.
- Name the document you mean (transcript, course descriptions, school profile or counselor letter) and, if it is about one course, which course and year.
- For a quick question, a text to the number above is often fastest.
Still putting the pack together?
Our free guides cover the questions families ask most: what a college-ready transcript must contain, how to write course descriptions admissions officers accept, and how to write the counselor letter when you are also the parent. The FAQ answers the rest, including how the GPA is calculated.
